Colour Creations Petal Pink

Hello friendly Stampers! Today we are showcasing the lovely Petal Pink, a mild peachy pink colour! I have made a card using the Loyal Leaves bundle, and I love how it has turned out.

I started with making the leaves with the Stitched Leaves dies on Shimmery White cardstock that had been washed with Petal Pink ink from the reinker with a Water Painter. After die-cutting I added a bit of tone to the leaves with Calypso Coral ink on the edges. Then I used the Wild Rose dies to cut out the lacy leaves.

I made the sentiment with an oval from Stitched Shapes dies and stamp from Butterfly Wishes with Calypso Coral inkpad. The background matts on the Whisper White card base were made of Petal Pink and Whisper White cardstock. On the uppermost matt of Whisper White I washed with Petal Pink ink, flicked some additional ink, and stamped the script from Very Versailles in Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Emboss Powder.

Here is the final card again:

I hope you enjoyed my Petal Pink inspiration for tonight. Head on over to Cathy's blog to see what the other participants have created for tonight!
